Setup MFA

You can set up your MFA by receiving a One Time Pass Code (OTPC) via:

  • text message if you are located in the United States or

Hint

Please note, TRiA’s text-based MFA is only supported for US phone numbers for the time being.

  • Authy

  • Microsoft

  • Duo

When your MFA setup has been completed successfully you should see a blue tick that indicates that your setup was successful.

From that point onward a new OTPC will be issued to you via your chosen method on any subsequent login.

Setup MFA for a Shared User

Attention

TRiA and Connectria do not recommend sharing users. Instead the accounts system was designed to prermit easy administration, invitation/ removal of users to/from your org. Please feel free to contact your CSM for further details.

If you are sharing a user with anyone else in your department then please follow the steps below to setup MFA once you have completed the Welcome to TRiA steps above.

  1. Once your profile is complete, you will walk through the process of setting up MFA for your TRiA user.

  2. Use the Authentication App option.

  3. Take a screenshot of the QR code displayed during the setup MFA process.

  4. Share this image with your team members that are also leveraging this shared user. This will allow for multiple parties to have access to the OTPC’s generated by the authentication apps and login independently.

  5. When your Authentication app has created the TRiA user you should have a one time pass code (OTPC) to enter into the TRiA login screen. If the OTPC is submitted successfully MFA will then be in place for your TRiA User.

Hint

All team members sharing this user will need to use the shared QR Code to create a user in their own authentication app.
